It was awhile for us ... I think she was scared of it until about 15 months.

I was around 5 or 6 months. I wasn't quite ready for it, lol. DH insisted LO was and sure enough he loved it.

@Boogs: wow! don't think my LO could even sit up at 5 months!

We have a little cot-like thing that we give him baths on, which we put inside the tub, so he has only ever used the big tub! (10 weeks old.)

@andrea: Do you fill up the entire tub with water? We were thinking of starting to do this but seemed like such a waste of water? We have a huge tub. Right now we use the eurobath and fill that up with water and put it in the tub.

@banana: no, i only put a teeny tiny bit of water in it. our baths are super quick so it would be a waste of water. LO doesn't seem to mind that there is barely any water. i don't think she knows the difference....lol.

We put towels down and laid her in on the floor of the tub for baths when she was around 3 months old? She loved to kick and splash so she was making a mess every night when we had her in her infant tub. Once she started sitting up one of us would get in the tub with her.
Now, we have a mini tub for her. -
@andrea: Oh! Ok. Cause my LO likes a lot of water. Up to the middle of his stomach. And we have a HUGE bath tub so we would need a LOT of water to fill that sucker up. I don't even give myself baths that often because of the water waste! Just a quick shower for me.

@banana: did you start out with a lot of water? i don't think my LO knows since i have never filled it up very much? so she sees that little bit of water and wants to climb in already. haha.

@andrea: How cute!! Yeah, we always started with a lot of water because I thought he would be cold. So I guess he's used to it. Maybe I"ll decrease it inch by inch until it's 3 inches high. lol

@Andrea: It was when he first started sitting up, that's why I think it was around that age. I need to look at my list to see when it was because now I'm curious, lol.

LO isn't the best at sitting up yet- she's 7 months. But we have a little tub she'll go in when she does sit up before the big tub.

around 14 months or so. we usually take a bath with him so we fill up the tub.

I think around 6-7 months. He loves to play in the water!
