It won't be too long before LO is over the activity mat, but I'm thinking she may be too young for an excersaucer. When did you start using one?

Charlie wasn't into his until 6 months, and olive was closer to 8 months but she was behind a little physically.

As soon as M was sitting on her own we started with the exersaucer, around 4 months.

I think we started around 4.5 months, just after she started sitting in a bumbo. We had to stuff a towel around her at first and some cushions so her feet had a place to rest but she loved it! Within a few weeks we were able to take the cushions and towels away.

I bought one for LO just after 4 months and it took him a week or two to figure it out.

We put her in it around 4 months but she wasn't interested in it until about 6 months.

DS was 3 months and we had a rolled up receiving blanket to support him even though he had really good head control at 3 months. He starting sitting unassisted at 4 months. DD is only 2 months but we can already tell we'll have to wait longer for her to use it.

We put her in it at 3.5 months. She has good head control so i felt okay putting her in it (and her feet touch the ground).

We got a jumperoo but we started her at 4 months. It's taking her some time to figure it out.

We started in the Jumperoo at 3 months, I bought an exersaucer a few weeks later. He really started to get into the jumping around 4 months.

DS is 5.5 months and still into it... I am thinking of trying again and seeing how he likes it.

Not until 6 months. We had a jumperoo after that, which we could have started earlier, because my son did have good neck/head control from about 4 months.

He uses the one at our play group, since 3.5 months. I am on the fence about whether to buy one.
