I try not to wish away phases of LO's age, but I am getting so tired of everything going in his mouth! When does it stop? He is almost 9 mo so I'm guessing not for a while, but now that he is close to walking I feel like it will be much worse.

I hate to tell you this, but my friends daughter is 3 1/2 years old and still puts absolutely everything into her mouth. Just the other day at another friends house, she popped a balloon with hair gel in it. Hair gel all over her clothes and mouth.
Though I think she is the exception to the rule...

I started a thread a month or two ago on this, and the consensus was it lasts for awhile. I know it sucks. My 10 months puts anything and everything in her mouth.

DD is 23 months and still does....

15 months here...teething and still very much putting every last thing in his mouth!

My LO is 13 months old and puts EVERYTHING in her mouth. Including the arms of her two friends she bit at school yesterday. UGH.

20 months and still putting everything in his mouth!! It's getting old

14.5 months and still doing it...although he KNOWS he's not supposed to and will now do it while looking at me and smiling.
