LO hasn't wanted to sit in a stroller since she was about 17 months. It is nice not to deal with a stroller at all but it does mean that we can't go on very long walks because she wears out a lot quicker than DH and I.

we got a push trike around 15 months and mr bee vastly preferred it to a stroller so charlie rode that for a couple months til it got cold. we actually very rarely take a stroller since we usually stay within 4 blocks of home. charlie has walked everywhere for a long time though it would be easier if he sat in a stroller.

@Mrs. Bee: yeah, LO just started riding a trike by herself a few weeks ago so i'm going to take advantage of that when we go to parks so we can walk around for longer!

we walk pretty far around our neighborhood (sometimes up to 20 city blocks and a few avenues) so my 4 year old still sits in a stroller sometimes... especially when the weather is cold. otherwise we use a buggy board. but if we were in the 'burbs, driving mostly, probably not at this age. she had a stroller-hating phase after she learned to walk at around 14 months but not for very long.
lots of 3-4 year olds around here just scoot everywhere instead, the mini kick is very popular.

@Andrea: it is really cute watching toddlers on their mini kicks!! we made the mistake and got DD a Minnie Mouse one when she was younger and it sucks. I think we might upgrade to a Mini Kick soon. Your LO might almost be ready for one!

At 12 months she still likes her stroller! Getting her in the car seat is another story..
