I'm just curious what the average age is for LO's to stop sleeping in their crib. Her crib is convertible, so it will go to a toddler bed and then eventually a full size bed.

LO is almost 17 months and is still happy in her crib. We don't have any plans to convert it or get a bed-bed until she's 2 or so.

We put her in a twin bed after she turned 2. I already knew that I was pregnant again so we didn't bother converting the crib to a toddler bed. We just took the crib apart and put it in storage for a while.

I don't want to buy another crib so we plan on transitioning LO out at 20 months. The newborn will sleep in our room for 4 months first. Not sure if this is a good plan or not!

We're going to switch C into a regular bed at like 2.5-ish when we move back to the states.

We moved our oldest out of his crib shortly after he turned three b/c we needed him to move rooms so his little brother can take over his old room. Otherwise, I would have LOVED to keep him in there. LOL! Okay, he was starting to outgrow it anyway, but I miss the days he would just wake up and hang out in bed until I go get him. He loves his new room though. My husband made it a huge deal so the transition went really smoothly.

I'm not sure when to do this either, I don't want to buy anohter crib so she is going to have to move to her big girl bed before we have a sibling for her.

We switched our son to a toddler bed at 20 months. We had potty trained and when he woke in the middle of the night to go potty it was getting harder on our backs so we made the switch.

My daughter went into a full sized floor bed at 8 months.

DS is 15 months old and still in his crib. I'm hoping to make it to two (at least!) before switching to a toddler or twin bed.

we moved LO to a twin size bed right after she hit 2 years old, to make room for our 2nd one. we put in some cute bedding for her which she excited about, and she couldn't wait. i was nervous for her that first night, she cried for a few minutes the first night but has been fine ever since.

Kind of late! DS was just over 2.5...he loved his little crib. He's been in a toddler bed and we'll transition him to a big bed in about a month.
