Right at 12 months. There were a few signs:
1) the morning nap was getting short when it was always our longer one (less than an hour)
2) he was taking forever to fall asleep for his afternoon nap (which was always shorter) - even when the morning nap was short.
3) he was sleeping less overnight (<11 hours).
As soon as we went to one nap he slept 1.5-2 hours more overall.

13 months. She started taking one giant nap and fighting the other. It wasn't consistently morning or afternoon, though.

Around 14-15 months. He would nap really well for his morning nap, but then either only slept 30 minutes in the afternoon, or didn't sleep at all. I finally gave in and just pushed it back to 12:30 instead of 10am. He would still go to sleep between 10 and 11 if I let him, but it's better to wait until after lunch. He sleeps for 3 hrs now, instead of (2) 1.5 hr naps.

Right around 11-12 months she would just play during the morning nap when it used to be the long nap. We kept it as a "rest period" for several months though bc every few days she would fall asleep...and on those days the afternoon nap was shorter. It was hard making plans there for awhile. I would say around 15-16 months we went to one nap bc I coul just tell she wasn't as tired or cranky for several hours

Ha! I was just thinking about this. She takes 1 nap at daycare but will still take 2 at home with us. I love the 2 nap schedule so I'm not in any rush to end that.

This week at just shy of ten months!
A's afternoon nap was getting later each day as she seemed to need longer awake time between sleeps and the late nap time was resulting in a 10pm bedtime (but still a 7am wakeup!)
Yesterday she took a THREE hour nap from 12pm but she usually does two hours then goes to bed at 7ish. A actually gets more total sleep with one nap than with two!
