LO has the newborn slate blue eyes right now... they are so beautiful! Curious what they'll be when/if they change!
What color were your LO's eyes at birth? Did they change color? If so, when?

M has had the same bright blue eyes since she was born so at 9 months I'm hoping they're here to stay!

She started out with that gray/slate blue but they gradually started to lighten over the first couple of weeks. Still blue at almost 7 months.

LO was born with the slate blue and at three weeks they've slowly started lightning starting at the pupil out . I'm thinking they'll b e a bright light blue like DH.

Sadie's only 20 weeks, but still blue! Her eyes were never slate blue, though - she was born with deeper, sea blue eyes. They've lightened a touch, but are definitely still a deep true blue (no green, brown, etc.). I love them & hope they don't change! They remind me of my daddy's eyes.

My eyes changed to hazel when I was three. I'm trying desperately to not get attached to LO's blues.

I was wondering this too! I don't know if my LO will get DH's brown eyes or my green ones, or blue like my parents!

@Pepper: DH and I both have dark brown eyes so I was always asking the pedi this during DS's first year. They told me that you couldn't really be sure until 1 year, but if they were still blue by 6 months there was a good chance they would stay that way. DS still has the same slate blue eyes at 26 months.
That said my mom's surgeon told us all 6(!) of his kids eyes did not change until after they were 2, but none of them have brown eyes...they changed to hazel, green and one stayed blue.

DD's eyes are still slate blue at 7 months. I was convinced they'd be brown or hazel, and I'm still thinking they might turn hazel. Her ped said if they hadn't changed by 9 months they were far more likely to stay. We'll see!

LO was born with dark blue eyes, and they gradually got lighter. AT almost 9 months, they're bright blue. Hope they stay--even though neither DH nor I have blue eyes!

DD's eyes were slate blue/grey at birth, and now at almost 8 months they are this combo of blue/green/grey with a golden hazel color in the middle. we have no clue what color they will end up!
