How much weight did your LO gain/how long had they been on meds before their dosage increased?

DS was on it from six weeks to 2.5 months and dosage never increased even though he put on a few lbs. I think range is pretty big.

@mrsjyw: thanks. Just wondering because LO's breath has been bad the past 2 days which is what originally tipped me off that she had reflux and I wasn't sure if I need to call her ped.

I think it upped every 2-4 weeks, but my LO also really packed the pounds on quickly.

We see the pediatric GI about once every 3 or 4 weeks and he usually adjusts the dose every other appt, or more frequently as needed. We're also on Nexium though, so in our case I don't feel like the zantac does much regardless of dose. ..

He started it at 2 months (13lbs) and the dosage stayed the same at his 4 months appt (15.5lbs).

Zantac stopped working when my son hit about 11-12 pounds so we switched to Prevacid at 3 months and never changed the dosage until we weaned him off at 5.5 months.
