My eldest is in Kindergarten + a separate afterschool program and has been bringing lots of illness home this year! I keep catching whatever he has, and I'm miserable. Wondering if this will stop at some point, or if it will continue forever! Anyone remember back that far?

Honestly, my facebook feed is full of parents with older kids, who are way sicker than my 4 year old. This season was rough, with the flu and viruses for a kids all the way up to high school.

We've been lucky and LO has only been sick once or twice since he started school.

I don't know. The littlest had RSV and is sick again. I just caught another cold.
I'm hoping that once spring rolls around, I can open the windows and air out the germs.
The 10 day forecast has temps in the high 40s and compared to the -5 it was last week that's practically bathing suit weather. The second it hits 55 these windows are OPEN.

i think every time your kid starts classes with a new set of kids, you have to go through the process of germ sharing until everyone becomes "used to" the other kid's germs. Now that my kid has been daycare with the same kids for 2 years, she barely brings home illnesses. But I did notice whenever she changes classes and new kids are added to the mix, *BAM* she brings home a cold.
