I feel like I know my daughter's "pattern" pretty well. She's 15 weeks now. When she wakes up in the middle of the night, I know if she's either hungry or just fussy. Her initial hungry noises in the middle of the night are mild squawking noises. I don't let her get into a full blow cry before I get in there to feed her.
Do you usually let your baby fuss for a while before going in or do you go in right away?
All of this stems from a comment my husband made last night. It was 7:30, she woke up and I knew if I got to her and fed her, she would go right back down. I went upstairs, grabbed her and took her into the bedroom to feed her. My husband said, "She has you trained!" Well, yeah. I guess she does.
