We've never sent Christmas cards before, but now that Bug is here we really want to send one out to family and friends (especially those far away). I am planning on taking her picture and using a template from Shutterfly since I have a $25 gift card. I have no idea when it's customary to start sending out Christmas cards, so I'm not sure what my photo/ordering/addressing timeline should look like.
When do you start sending out your Christmas cards?

I think we're going to send them the first week in December. I've never sent them before, so this is new to me!

I aim for the beginning of December, but really it counts as long as they get it before Christmas lol. And if you can't make it for that, make happy new year cards!

i think any time in december is acceptable! and if it looks like you'll be cutting it close you could always send new years cards, instead.

I like to send them the first week of December to get them out if the way. But as long as they are sent before Christmas then it is good.
I'm hoping we will have our photos back at the end of the month so I can get cads out right away.

I always try to send by 2nd week of December. Last Christmas I totally bailed on sending them as I was in the first trimester and felt like crap. I definitely have to send some this year!

Anytime after Thanksgiving!! I'm going to TRY to get ours out the first week of December but it may be the second week by the time it gets done with the new baby and everything going on.

We always send our cards late. Like the week of christmas.
This year, we are really on top of things and just did our holiday photo this weekend. Now, I just need to find a template and order.

The first week of December! Last year I sent them out before thanksgiving bc I wasn't sure when DS was going to make his appearance.

First or second week of December. I was so late sending them out last year because I ordered them through Shutterfly and they took forever to come! Most people got our card on Christmas Eve.

I send cards on the second week of December if it is a US address. If it's an international address, I send them Thanksgiving week or the first week of December.

We usually make a trip to see Santa during the first week of December. I use the Santa photo on the back of the Christmas card and try to order the cards that week. I start to address and stamp the envelopes once the cards arrive a few days later.
