I usually take mine at night before I go to sleep! My vitamins smell kinda fishy so taking them in the morning always makes me nauseous!

I take mine with or after dinner, that way I don't get sick
Also I've always heard that it is better to take a multivitamin with food, so it can be digested properly. Not sure if that is true or not though...

I also take it right before bed with a tall glass of water.

I used to take it around dinner time so I could have it with food, but then husband suggested, why not take it in the morning. Maybe the extra vitamins will help make you feel better throughout the day, so now I take it with breakfast.

I take them in the morning but always make sure to eat a little something with them, or I get a little nausea. I guess it makes more sense to take them with dinner though. I also take a B Complex and they are supposed to be taken in the morning because they give you energy, I think, and it's easier to take it all at once.

I actually cut mine in half, take one half after breakfast or lunch and the other after dinner. I have a REALLY hard time not getting an upset stomach with vitamins, so this seems to help. My ob/gyn suggested this to me.

I take one with lunch and one with dinner. My naturopath emphasized that I should take them with food in order to properly synthesize all the vitamins/minerals, and to minimize nausea.

In the morning after breakfast. Or if I forget (usually on the weekend), the first opportunity after eating something.

@kpow: I don't know what type you are taking, and obviously have already talked to your doctor about this, but I take the Rainbow Light Petites, which are 3 smaller pills instead of 1 giant one. It might help, so you don't have to be cutting them, and they are easier to swallow. I take them all at once but it would be easy to do it one with every meal.

I take everything right when I get up in the morning, then I go eat breakfast.

I've always taken them at night. When I was pregnant I took them right after dinner to make sure my stomach was full to avoid nausea but now that I'm nursing, I take them right before I go to sleep.

@foodnerd81- I take the Rainbow One but the big horsepill ones. I didn't know about the petites but I will get those next time!! Much easier!

@Foodnerd81: I didnt know about petites!
I take the Giant Rainbow One's like @Kpow
They make me sick no matter when I take them, so I take them at night. That way I throw up in the morning before work and dont have to deal with daytime nausea.

@kpow: @travelingbrit: The only downside is they are a little more expensive than the horse pills, but it's worth it to me to not choke them down. I order them on AMazon and found them to be cheapest there (they cost a LOT in Whole Foods).

@Foodnerd81: I don't mind big pills, I just hate the pukey feeling. I'm guessing it's the same ingredients though...
