What's your threshold to use it? Just stuffy, can't breath? C is congested and you can hear the snorting when she breaths, especially while she is nursing, but she hates it so so much I don't want to!!

LO is sick so I've used it 4 times today...after she woke up for the day, after both of her naps, and right before bed. She hates it with a passion so I feel bad using it on her so frequently, but I've heard it's important to prevent ear infections

I haven't had to use it in ages thank God(LO can see it coming across the room!) but I have used it a lot in the past whenever he was nasally or stuffed up. My threshold is pretty low, It's a royal pain for sure but I agree it can prevent a cold escalating into an ear infection.

Only when I can see that there's boogs I can't reach and/or she sounds just awwwwful. She despises it do I don't like doing it unless it'll actually be worth it b

I find that saline before nose frida really helps to maximize what you get out. I only use it when I know know for sure he needs it. Our last cold was a dry congestion so I didn't have to.

If he sounds stuffy or I can see boogers, I'll use it. He hates it too but I haaate the idea of his nose being clogged.

I use it when I can hear her stuffy breathing. LO hated it at first, but I sneak it while she's nursing and now she doesn't mind it. Sometimes she tries to eat it though...

Ugh we use it morning and night now that he's been so sick for the past 9 weeks he hates it but it really helps.

We use it anytime I hear stuffiness while nursing. It's not a big deal for us though because DS loves it and laughs when we do it.

@Beyond2: my LO loves it too! Well she likes it better if she's not feeling really icky. We call it getting snot snuckered. DH makes it a game of it and she'll ask to get snuckered when she sees the nose frida. I should post a video.
I use it anytime she's stuffy.

I tried to do it tonight, but Dh was out. I had a legit wrestling match with her and she won. No snot sucking tonight. I could hold her head, the blue piece and one arm, but that other arm just kept pulling and punching. How did a 7 month old beat me?

I use it when LO is stuffy, but if he's not super stuffy, I try just using the saline spray first and see if that clears up his nose at all. The weird thing is, he loves the saline spray (he'll even stick his nose out for it), but HATES the Frida!

@katsupgirl: haha! we call it getting his nose sucked and if he sees the frida he begs for me to do it even if he doesn't need it! I hope my next little one likes it too but I have a feeling our kids are the odd ones on this topic

@lawbee11: I thought swaddling her but it just seemed so cruel. Couldn't bring myself to. She slept ok even with the stuffiness at least!
