I always said it was once they could "toddle", ie walking. But he was walking at 11.5 months and he's still my baby!! My mom said only babies wear diapers so its until they're potty trained

I think I'd consider them a toddler after they turn 1.

Once they turn one, I think they become a toddler. I still consider DS to be my baby and he's 18 months old!
