I just bought one, because the ones I have were bought before I got pregnant with DD1... (so at least 5 years old). They are so "worn in", but I know they don't fit right, so I got fitted at VS, bought a new one (geez they're expensive!!) and I feel like it's way too small. I've even been back 3 times to be refitted and they said it's the right size, but I just need to wear it a few times to get it worn in.... *sigh*

About eight months ago towards the beginning of my pregnancy. My boobs got HUGE right off the bat. This never happened with my first pregnancy. I'm terrified of what they will look like once the baby is born and my milk comes in!!

FWIW - my boobs got huge at the beginning of the pregnancy, but they went down a little towards the end and then up one more cup after my milk came in. But, after a few months, they went down a cup or two.

I give in and bought a couple nice nursing bras last winter when I realized we were in this thing for the long haul. Before that? Who knows! I feel like I've been in nursing bras for as long as I can remember! FWIW, I find VS bras to be ill fitting for my adult self. They totally worked when I was 18-23 but at some point after that they just never seemed to fit me right. And this was pre-preg so I can't even blame it on that!

I'm waiting until I'm done nursing and then plan to invest in some nice bras... sooooo, in another 18 months??

@kiddosc: Interesting! Yeah, I've always been a 36C, but they were measuring me as a 33DDD... it's not comfortable, but now I'm out over $60 because I can't wear them.

Before I got pregnant. I survived on Coobies and nursing bra's and now at 11 mo pp I squeeze back into 2 of my regular VS bras, but I should eventually get re-fitted...

@petunia354: Yes - there's one right by my work. I'll try going there. I just hate to fork out more money for a bra... I could find so many other uses for that same amount of money lol

Actually just a few months ago. I went to a local boutique store, more expensive, but the service was incredible! They were so helpful and provided a really accurate bra fitting. I fell in love with the bras and I will definitely be going back there. And now that I know my size in some specific brands, I can look for sales online. There are a lot!

A few weeks ago! For the first time since waaaaaaay before I got pregnant! I am so excited to have proper-fitting bras again. I needed the help

Can you return the VS bra? I would agree with going to Soma or Nordstrom.

I bought nursing bras just after DS was born, so coming up on 2 years ago. Before that I really have no idea, and these are the ones I am still wearing now!

Bought nursing bras in 2013. Before that I had bought some while I was pregnant because my boobs went up immediately. I had actually bought some bras shortly before I got pregnant with C, so I guess early fall 2012.
Once this baby is born, then weans, and things settle back to normal, THEN I will go to a nice place and get properly fitted. VS kind of sucks at fitting.
