My one year old has put herself down for naps the last few days and put herself to bed the last two nights 
I know that's a good thing but she's my last baby! She did fall asleep In my arms at midnight

My 6 month old almost always does. The almost 3 year old hasn't fallen asleep actually in my arms in ages, but she sometimes wakes up at night or has trouble sleeping and needs us to snuggle her until she falls asleep. It's sweet every once in a great while. Not so much every night for two weeks...

This question makes me a little sad, my 1 year old has been struggling away from me when I try to rock him to sleep. I'm hoping it's just a phase and I have so more time with my baby sleeping in my arms

Today!!! She's 2 years 4 months and has had fever all week and been taking suuuuper long naps. We found out she an ear infection today after being cleared on Tuesday of one. I was singing her songs before nap as always and she cuddled up and fell asleep while I was singing! I was shocked! It's been at least a year since she fell asleep in my arms.

I have a 2 week old so about an hour ago?! Lol. My two year old rarely does anymore. I can't remember the last time. She will fall asleep in DHs arms though. I don't give her the opportunity to at nap or bedtime unless she's sick.

Tonight at bedtime (he's 9.5 months). I rock/ nurse him to sleep every night... yeah yeah.... bad mommy.... whatever. Lol

The three month old? About five minutes ago. The two and a half year old, it's been a while, although he falls asleep holding my hand every night.
This topic made me sad! I once read something similar that is so depressing, something along the lines of one day you'll put your kid down and never pick them up again.

DD 18 months tonight, usually I sing 1 verse of a song and lay her down drowsy....tonight I felt her go limp.... lol out like a light!

Right now! LO is 19 mos but she still loves to be rocked to sleep so that's what we do. She's capable of puttingherself to sleep (does it daily at daycare) but we both love this so it is still going. I know she's way too old but I hate the thought of stopping!

@Ms.Badger: this happened to us too! I was so sad. Happy to report it only lasted a week or so and at 14 months I am still rocking her to sleep and will do so until she won't let me

Aw, this question made me sad because I can't really remember. I think it was last summer, the last time she had a seriously high fever. She's 2.5 now so she would have been maybe 20 months.

My daughter is 5 months & I let her fall asleep in my arms every bedtime. I know it's a bad habit, but she's my last & I don't care.
My son is 3.5 years & he asks me to cuddle him to sleep about once a week. I do it because I'm a sucker.

Oh man, I can't even remember. He's never been a snuggler and I rarely rocked him to sleep. Of course it happened a lot more as a newborn but not regularly. I think the rare times it's happened we were on a plane around nap time and he fell asleep while eating. Maybe like a year ago? He's 21 months.

Last night for both of them. I rock G (6 months) to sleep most nights, so she's a given. It's been a long time for E (almost 4), but he's sick and he fell asleep watching Peppa Pig snuggled up with me on the couch last night. It basically only happens when he's sick.

18mo old still occasionally does! We co-sleep so I lay in bed with her till she's asleep. Most of the time she falls asleep in her own corner, but sometimes she snuggles up!

Its rare these days. She is almost 3 and a half.
Not completely the same but last weekend she fell asleep in the car. Its a long drive for us to get to any decent stores and was driving to Target. So when I got there she was asleep. I had a Toddler Tula in the car. So grabbed that and wore her and she slept on me while I shopped.

A few days ago! She used to always be rocked to sleep, or slept in my arms for naps, but that changed a few weeks ago, when she wanted to just be put down. But a few nights ago she was SOOO tired, that she actually fell asleep nursing. I cherished that

He just turned 3 and he still nurses down for nap so if I'm not careful, he'll fall asleep in my arms! A couple of weeks ago, he fell asleep on DH's back, in the carrier.

I actually only recently bought the carrier for when we went to Disneyland. I'm loving it. Totally regret not having worn her and carried her more.
She eventually woke up but was so content and happy to be held it was the easiest shopping event ever with my toddler.

DS napped in my arms on April 18! He dropped his nap a long time ago, but he wasn't feeling well that day.

My 8 month old- usually only in the motn after a bottle or at bedtime occasionally while drinking a bottle. It's been... A few days or a week?
Dd- a few weeks ago at a late party. But before that... I think years.

My little guy (5 months) is not a snuggler. But he was crying and exhausted the other night and fell asleep in my arms which I loved but all the baby sleep books make me feel bad about doing that. Sigh.
