This happens every time we go in the car! I've tried talking. singing, even stopping to give him a paci, but nothing makes it better. I'm hoping he'll grow out of it...

Mine HATES her carseat. Tough shit, kid, you have to stay in it!

I reach back and hold her hand - my hand is her lovey, so it always calms her. As long as it's not heavy traffic, I feel I can drive safety that way (15 years of driving and no tickets or accidents, yo!)
Otherwise I sing her favorite song: Bad Romance by Lady Gaga.

When LO was smaller I would reach back and put her soother in her mouth and hold it there. Now that she is older, if snacks/bottle doesn't work, I give her a random item from my car.
