There is information and suggestions for when the mom should tell her employer but is there a timeline for when the expectant father should tell his employer? I haven't found anything.

My husband told his fairly early, around 7 week, because he needed to be able to adjust his schedule (he travels a lot) to be available for midwife appointments and such. It was his choice to tell, and I was OK with it.

I think he told his boss around 12 weeks. He told the rest of his co-workers around 20 weeks, I think, when we were all together for a company event one evening. He just took me around the room and was like "she's pregnant, yay"

Hubs told his boss right after we told my IL's, maybe 6-7 weeks? His schedule is pretty flexible anyway, but this made it easier for him to go to a.m. appts with me.

DH told his boss sometime after 12 weeks…just so that they could have notice about him needing vacation time in October.

Is your DH planning on going to a lot of your DR appts?
Mine told his boss at 7 weeks because he needed time off to come to our first appt.

My hubs told work at 12 weeks. They may have suspected previously since he came to all my appointments with me. But his schedule is pretty flexible.

DH told his boss around 12 or 13 weeks, so his boss would know why he was coming in late a few times (after u/s). He told other coworkers later on, probably around 20 weeks.
