My daughter gets gifts from her godmother, her uncle and from one set of grandparents. The other grandparents send a card with a check for the college fund. When do you have your lo open gifts that aren't from you or Santa?
Last year we let her open gifts from her Uncle on Christmas Eve. I felt like the rest of the gifts from the grandparents and godmother got lost in the mix.
What do you do?

Growing up we always opened presents from others on Christmas eve after getting home from church. It helped tide us over until the morning!

If we're with the person who gave the gift, we'll open it whenever we receive the gift (so the gifter can witness it being opened and get a thank you in person), otherwise we'll open on Christmas morning with all the other presents.

We always did stockings/santa sacks first (from mom and dad) and our grandparents' gifts first thing Christmas morning (grandparents were 2 hours later than us, so they would inevitably call during breakfast and we hadn't opened their gifts and we'd have to scramble to find them under the tree and open them. Then we came up with our system). Then we'd eat breakfast, and after, we'd open all the rest of the gifts under the tree.

I just save everything for xmas day. My kids don't know the difference yet anyway.

We open all presents on Christmas morning. We go around the room, though, so no presents get lost in the shuffle.

From grandparents - we usually see them later in the day for Christmas dinner so they will open during the visit. Presents from aunts and uncles get opened Christmas morning with everything else.
