DS is 4 weeks today and I have been EBF. He eats every 2-3 hour around the clock. I'd like to pump so that DH can get involved in the feedings, but I don't know when I should be doing this.
Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

this was tricky for me as well! Around the same time I started to do one pump in the morning - I would do it about an hour after the first feeding, and he was eating every 2-3 hrs... I didn't get much to start, but I started doing it every day and usually 2 pumps would give me enough for one bottle.
Morning was better as I always produced more milk then.

I would around that time try to pump 2x a day after LO ate. Or I would pump the side she wasnt eating from. I wanted this for two reasons and acomplished both.
1 Starting a freezer stash
2 trying to get my body to produce more.
Your morning milk will be when you prob will have the most luck. Pump after your first morning feed.

I usually pump 1-2x a day. Usually right after the morning feeding. My other pump session is around 6pm when DH is home from work. I'll replace that feeding with a pump session and can usually pump more than DS needs so I'll give 2-3 oz in a bottle so DH can feed him, and freeze the remaining milk.

Thanks for the advice ladies. I think I will start trying to get a pump session in the morning.
