Hi all,
We have a baby jogger, but I haven't actually jogged with baby in it yet - just walked. My daughter is 10 months old. Some people say it's ok to jog with them at 6 months, some say a year. Anyone have any insight? Thanks!

I just started jogging with baby now that she turned 8 months (without the infant car seat, we jogged with her in that earlier). Both my husband and I went out together the first two times to make sure she wasn't getting jostled too much or looked unhappy. She loves it and just falls asleep. We have a big burly sport utility BOB so there's not much jostling that happens.

I think by 10 months it should be fine provided you do have a stroller that is meant for jogging. I believe my DH jogged with our daughter by then but if you have any worries you can wait 2 months and then at a year it should be more than fine I think.

I was told that I was allowed to use our jogger as soon as the baby was able to fully support her neck. I'm assuming that'd be around 6-8 months. I haven't heard to wait a full year, that seems like a long time.

I think most joggers are okay to be used once baby is able to sit unsupported. Our jogger is also a bike trailer and the recommended age for use is 1 year.

6 months is the usual age given, I think. I have been running with LO since then. The main thing is to make sure it is an actual running stroller - like a bob -not just one 3 wheelsand jogger in the name. Big wheels, long wheel base, fixed front wheel. Can you tell I researched this LOTS!!

Wow, I'm glad I read this board! I had no idea you were supposed to wait 6-10 months! I assume walking is okay before then?
