I felt old twice yesterday....
-I got upset at some junior high kids who were using our front steps as a skating ramp.
-The 19 year old Target cashier told me he wants kids before 25 because he wants to be an energetic parent.

I feel old right now. My metabolism seems to have left me. I have bags under my eyes. I see young and trendy girls and just curse them. HAHA. I need a refresher.

Last week. Im in college (26 year old undergrad, what! lol) finishing my degree and I was in a play the past couple months. Last week we were talking about Pokemon and one of them told me he was in preschool when it came out.... I was in 6th grade.
A couple months ago, I mentioned that I was in 8th grade during 9/11.... and the entire class was SHOCKED. Like, really shocked. Never felt older. lol

When I mentally curse drivers who speed on my street. I live on a highway, but it's in town so the limit is 25. I think most people speed by at least 10-15. We have a fenced yard, but still.

Last wknd Dh and I stayed overnight at the hotel casino downtown and I had to call front desk twice because the room next door was partying too loud at 1am.
I used to be one of those late night hotel partygoers, (a decade ago) lol!

@Mrs. Jacks: Yeah, the other older girl in the cast was in the military during 9/11. I think it's crazier because Im not old! Im 26! lol. They were all treating me like Im an ancient.

Ok, for this board I probably actually am... But in the broad scheme of things, I don't feel old... Even when my husband pesters me that he listened to Nirvana in grade school (I was in college for their first album) or he talks about going to day care in the '89 earthquake (while I was in my college apartment drinking a beer before the Bay Bridge series. (I had skipped grades, so wasn't as old as my experiences would indicate).

The last time I felt old was when I hung out with my SIL and my brother's GF. They're 22 and 23, and even though that's only 6 years younger than me, they were all cute and stylish and drinking wine and talking about their boyfriends and I was....married and pregnant and not drinking wine. Hahahaha.

@Mrs. Jacks: You are not old! I still have lunch with some of my childhood teachers and their friends. The oldest lady is 96. We joke with her and said she would outlive us all. LOL

One of my therapy adolescent clients was very upset that some girls were calling her a thot today. No idea what she meant, and was wondering why being a thought would be so bad. Turns out, it's stands for "that hoe over there." Never would have guessed that one!

I generally only feel old when my younger cousins or my youngest sister talk about how old they are getting... And I'm almost a decade older! I'm pretty young still (26) so I don't get those feelings very often.

When my niece turned 13 I felt pretty old...and now every time I see her and she talks about her boyfriend or just generally acts like a teenager...I'm not ready for her to grow up yet!

I'm pretty sure I was born old.
My brother and BIL are both 3 years older than me... when we hang out almost always during that time they call me boring and old.

I haven't yet, I'm only 26 lol. Sometimes I will hear that a movie is however many years old and be like Wow but I am usually among the youngest in parent friend crowds so I keep perspective.
