I just started watching Fringe, and one of the episodes (season 1, episode 4) one of the characters went on and on about root beer floats. It made me want one... and I realized, I haven't had a float since high school!! That was a long time ago...

A few months back. There is an A&W right across the street from my office so in the summer we sometimes walk over and get a float.

The last last time I was at my inlaw's! I had a rootbeer float every single night. We stayed out there for 5 days and I gained 7lbs! No exaggerating! Texas!!!!!!!

Not a big fan of root beer floats but I love strawberry sodas made with vanilla ice cream with chopped almonds sprinkled on top!

A few months back we split one at an A&W. They're really good, and you can make them with low-carb ice cream and diet soda, so that they aren't too bad for you.

I was originally thinking not since I lived at home (12+ years ago), but then remembered when we were in Hawaii in 2011 a place we went for lunch gave a free float with a meal, so DH and I shared one.
And now I'm wondering if I could make a passable float with diet root beer and the sugar free vanilla ice cream I have left in the freezer from when I had GD.... hmm...

Probably a few months ago. I love getting rootbeer floats at a nearby brewery that makes their own rootbeer. It's soooo good. If I didn't have GD, I would make DH buy me a growler of rootbeer and a pint of vanilla ice cream. Yum!

A few days ago. It was a Coke float, I prefer Dr. Pepper floats though! Mmmmm I love floats!
