I bought a stand mixer last week and I totally regret not getting the nicer Kitchenaid one! And I can't return it because it was a final sale/clearance item! I wanted to save money and decided to go with the less expensive one but it sucks! Should've just gone with my first choice...=\

I have a pair of brown shoes in my car from DSW that were an impulse buy. On clearance ($20 for Clarks) but I just don't know what I would wear them with.

@tororojo: I know! Totally sucks..:( I might just donate it to a local homeless shelter. They might be able to use it for preparing food. I just don't like it cause it's SUPER loud (not good with a baby in the house), the bowl doesn't spin, and the attachments keep popping off! UGH.

@banana: Yuck, that does sound crappy! At least you'd be doing a good deed if you donate it. I'm not in the market for a KitchenAid and I don't think I'd use it much if we had one, but at Macy's the other day I was looking through the color selection booklet and they are all so pretty! Maybe you NEED one...a pretty colored one...and if you need it, then you can totally justify buying it, right?

We bought a car when I was pregnant because it was comfortable but I wasn't in love with it. We ended up trading it in 5 months later.

@banana: Maybe you could buy it if/when you find a good deal, but don't take it out of the box right away...ya know, work your way up to it gradually. Return it if you feel guilty.

@tororojo: Oh yeah!! That's a good idea. That way, I can take advantage of the BF sales. btw, I still have clothes in my closet with tags still on them because I might want to return them one day. So this concept is definitely not foreign to me. I'm a retailer's worst nightmare!

@banana: Haha...yeah, I worked retail for several years and as a result of that I usually feel bad returning, but it's okay to do sometimes. Especially for your precious KitchenAid! Don't want to regret a huge purchase.
People that come in every single day returning things (especially when they stole them/paid with bad checks) are a different story...I still get angry about it and haven't worked at a mall in years!
