We last visited my family at least a year before Charlie was born, so it's been 3 1/2 years or so. They live far away (2 days by plane), so that's been tough with kids.

We visited Bee's family when Charlie was one, so it's been about a year and a half. We'll probably see them again in August of this year.

One of the surprises of being a parent has been how we've had to cut back on visits to our parents. Anyone else experienced this?
