My friend had a baby shower at a bowling alley about six months or so ago, and Charlie bowled a few games. He loved it! The kiddie gutter protectors were critical to his enjoyment... wish I could play with those things up haha!
When the kids are a bit older, I'd love to go bowling with them... I'm not very good, but it's a great way to spend quality time with family!

We took the kids at Christmas time. DS had a great time; DD could care less. 
We'll probably try again later this year.

the last time i went was in 2002 at chelsea piers when i first moved to nyc. i would throw the ball and then turn around immediately, not bothering to look as the ball inevitably veered towards the gutters.

DH's company had a Christmas party at a bowling alley. I had two beers and bowled 4 strikes in a row buffered by 2 spares. It was awesome.

In December when visiting my parents. They live in a very small town with a total 1960s throwback alley. Everything is super old and hamburgers are only $1.50 It was so fun! The first time DH had ever been, too!

DH and I went bowling on our first date But that was almost nine years ago and now I can't remember the last time I went. I'm the world's worst bowler, though. Family legend has it I once got a zero... with bumpers, lol.

We did a bowling league last year. We were awful. It was pretty much just a "get together and drink" type of league. Lots of fun though!
