I volunteered for JBF last year and this weekend. I've always helped with setup but I will be attending my first sale next weekend.
Hoping I can get some good deals on some cloth diapers.
I really want to stock up on some cute clothes I saw today... But the DH will give me the big stink eye. So I won't.

Just a couple weekends ago! I got sooo many good deals!!!! Swing for $40, Moby wrap for $12, etc! I can't wait for the next one, I'm addicted to the high of saving so much money! You'll have to report what you find

Last week. There was a huge consignment event like the one you are talking about. I went last time out was here and for almost everything I needed for LO when I was pregnant with her. This time I want able to get as much since she is just 5 weeks and doesn't need a bunch. Some clothes to full in the gaps in sizing and some developmental toys. I also got an awesome high chair for $35 that looks almost new. I love consignment sales! I volunteer at this one too but I do the clean up wick means anything not sold at the end of the sale we get a special discount and get to help get rid of what's left by buying it! Lol.

It has been a few months since I went to a big one like you speak of, but a couple of days I went to a local kid's consignment door and got some great deals.

I went to a JBF sale Friday night and STOCKED UP. It is ridiculous all the awesome used stuff I got.

We went a week or 2 ago to one at my church. I scored some toys, a RL onesie and a Babygap winter coat! Last time I got a jumperoo for really cheap.

Yep! I went about a week before I found out gender (JBF I think!) and before we registered (it was pretty early) so it was kind of pointless. I only got a few things. I went to a smaller one a week or two ago and got some good 12mo size outfits. The next BIG one is a few days after my due date!! I would LOVE to go, or I'll be sending DH with a list of things we need!!!!! I especailly want to find some more good 9+ month size clothes, and a jumper/activity center in good condition.

I went to a JBF last month and I was underwhelmed. I felt like all the consigners forgot that they are selling used items. Most of the clothing wasn't priced very low. I felt like I could find even cheaper things at Carter's, Gymboree, or Baby Gap on clearance.
My biggest score was a flowergirl dress for DD for $15. My sister doesn't care what the dress looks like, and so I was able to buy one cheap!!!

I went to a couple back in the spring when we were newly pregnant. We got a ton of stuff, including a FP Rainforest Jumperoo for $45.

I went to one last week. Scored TONS of 6 month and 9 month clothes for cheap. I also bought a bumbo for $15. I love consignment sales.

@MamaBehr: Agree. I went last summer and found that most of the cuter clothing was priced too high. I can get much better deals at the Clearance ranks at the Gap/Old Navy.

A few months ago DH and I went to one specifically selling baby clothes. We found a bunch of clothes with tags still on them!

I went to one in June or July, I was surprised at how much girl stuff there was compared to boy stuff!
