I'm going today... first time in a few years! Before that, I had a dentist who would aggressively schedule cleanings every six months... that was pretty great.
When was the last time you went to the dentist?

I think it was four months ago. I go every six months.

We go yearly. Our health insurance demands it.

Last summer. I was supposed to get my wisdom teeth removed before the yearly checkup, but then I got pregnant. Oops.

I went at around 10-12 weeks pregnant. Couldn't get my x-rays done, so I have another appointment in around 6 months or so.

umm right now? I work as a dental hygienist but the last time I was in the chair was last month for a cleaning.

I got every 3 months and alternate between my periodontist and my regular dentist. So last time I went was in April and I'm going again this month.

5 months ago. I go every 6 months. Hubby's aunt is dental hygenist so she does our cleanings!

May 31st. I was due for my x-rays so I told them I was preggers. Oh man were they excited!!

Few weeks ago! My next appointment is actually scheduled for the same week that I'm due...I might move it up a few weeks!

@mrbee: You made me feel a bit better when you said "first time in a few years"! I am embarrassed to admit that I haven't been to the dentist in probably 3.5 yrs!!
Last time I went was when I was still working my corporate job and had dental insurance through work. After I left my job and switched over to my husband's insurance, his dental benefits package was more expensive so we never bought coverage. Ugh... I need to go sometime soon though.

Earlier this week and i'll be there again Thursday. I'm having a very lengthy series of dental surgeries/implants so I visit quite often. For normal check-ups though I go every 6 months. DH hasn't been in years. Not since i've known him at least. Ick.

@sweetchic: Oh I have gone decades between cleanings before. I didn't have health insurance starting in 5th or 6th grade, I think.

@highwire: My next appointment should have been a week after I'm due. They went ahead and booked me out a month or so : ) I didn't want to schedule it before the baby because I need to get my xrays next time.

Every 6 months...I was just there in May to have cavity filled, and have a cleaning scheduled for this month!

I was just there last month. They are really good about following up with you to reschedule if you can't make it every six months.

March. I got an extra appt because I was pregnant. I LOVE the dentist, too @theknest) and went even when I didn't have health insurance. Love the feeling of just-cleaned teeth. Never had a cavity!

I was just there yesterday getting a crown fitted. I'm pretty rigorous about my dental care though, I definitely go every 6 months for cleanings. The crown I got put on was replacing an older filling I'd had for 10+ years.

Oh it's been 9 months...I was supposed to go in March but I was having horrible morning sickness so I cancelled...and never rescheduled. Now I feel guilty, I need to get back in! I always go every 6 months!

I have an appointment scheduled for this month. I'm feeling pretty good about that!

I usually go every 6 months for cleanings but I hate going when I"m preggars (bleeding/sensitive gums) so I'm going to wait until after baby comes, which is what I did when I had my son. But usually I got every 6 months.

I try to go every 6 months. I did that for the last 24 years of my life. But this year I havent gone since October, DH and I went a couple months without any insurance. But I really need to go again soon.

I haven’t been in a couple of years! Not since I switched insurances. My new insurance covers it but I haven’t gone to the trouble of finding an in-network dentist. Oops!

Hm... maybe 4 months? I feel like I must have a cleaning coming up, and I get them every 6 months. I just convinced DH to finally go, he hadn't been in 15 years!!!!

I go once a month for my Invisalign checkups, and every 6 months for cleanings. I feel like I'm there all the time.
