The last time dd slept in my arms was on a flight to ca last August. She was 18 months old.
Today she woke too early from a nap and wanted hugs. she climbed up on my lap.. And fell asleep!
I was so shocked when I realized she was sleeping on me! I love it

Toddler- 2 weeks ago when she was sick. Baby- maybe around 7 weeks? She hates being held when she is tired!

We are crib training for naps, so it's been about 2 weeks since she slept in my arms (which she did every.single.day. for 14 months).

We're horrible and still rock DD to sleep for her nap on the weekends. (She's almost 16 months and a terrible napper.) I still love having my baby fall asleep in my arms on weekends after her lunch. We transfer her to her crib a few minutes after she falls asleep. I know I should try to end this habit b/c she falls asleep for naps on her own at daycare (and always falls asleep on her own at bedtime). But I love my rare cuddle time with my baby girl!

@MsLipGloss: How old? It took us a *long* time to get to this point. She fought naps, even when being rocked to sleep, for more than a full year, and things only really got better once she dropped down to a 1 nap per day schedule.

He's nursing right now and will probably fall asleep. He's been a busy dude today, he helped me clean the kitchen, fold and put away laundry, we had a dance party, then tummy time (he ALMOST rolled. He was like 50% there and said eh, never mind!) so he and I are due for a nap soon!

It's been years since G was cuddly & slept in my lap/with me... he attempted to have me lay with him about 2 years ago when he was sick but ultimately kicked me out of his bed b/c he couldn't sleep with me in it.
With P it was when my mom had her surgery & only for like 15 minutes!

She fell asleep nursing this morning and I wish I just held her instead of putting her in the crib. Since sleep training I miss my snuggles.

Today!! She's 21 months old and not feeling well. She hasn't slept on me since she was maybe 6 or 7 months old.

MONTHS ago- Like, when he was a newborn. He is nearly 10m old and he never sleeps in my arms. If he is in my arms, he likes to play with my hair and "talk". He can only sleep when laying flat down and in some darkness.

On the plane to SC from CA and she will tomorrow on our way home. Other than that, never! We snuggle in bed but its not the same as when she was a newborn. (She's 15 months)

I cannot remember She sleeps better in her crib. Maybe a couple of months ago? I don't remember precisely when but she randomly fell asleep (for maybe 30 minutes) on me during her morning nursing session. I loved it! She is 13 months.

Awww, I miss it, it's so rare these days. J fell asleep while nursing before bed about a week ago, and I let him stay there for a little while so I could enjoy it, before moving him to his crib.

today! she's almost 22 months.
well she didn't sleep in my arms, but i laid down next to her and nursed her down when she woke up early from her nap. i knew she was still tired because she went to bed late last night since we stayed at a friend's house til late! as soon as i left the room she woke up so i had to return to let her nap.

M has never been a big cuddler. I usually hold her and sing her a song before I put her in her crib for the night. A few times lately she's fallen asleep. It's such an amazing feeling because it's so unlike her. Literally brings tears to my eyes.
