This morning. she didn't want to wake up. She didn't want to get dressed. She didn't get a hug. We have had constant meltdowns both evening and morning for at least a week now. I need my happy go lucky kid back and am afraid she is gone forever.

Last night. She didn't want to pee. Then she didn't want to eat dinner. Then she didn't want me to look at her. Then she didn't want Daddy to read her a book in a funny voice. She didn't nap at school for this entire week; I hear she's feeling better today

Last night. DH was putting together a new bookshelf, and she wasn't allowed to use the allen key when she wanted to (he did let her use it when it made sense). She was tired. We ended the meltdown by running upstairs to hide on daddy.

Logan: This morning - Dada wiped his nose.

This morning!
She threw a HUGE tantrum because I "smashed Millie's fingers in the door" when I was leaving for work. Millie is her imaginary friend!

This evening. She was just overtired, but she was wailing "I want my kitchen". She is clearly sick of the renovation work, as we all are!

Tuesday at preschool pickup. Oh it was epic. She doesn't tantrum much but when she does I think all the emotions just spill out. So I had to get my son, lunch bags, and a tantruming girl to the car.

Tuesday morning - He wanted to brush his teeth with a big toothbrush. I had one in a package that was green. He wanted blue
I was half an hour late to work because I couldn't get him out the door and into the car seat.

It's daily, but it was because I offered him a sticker, and he didn't want it, but he didn't NOT want it, either. It's a situation I'm finding myself in with him way too often.

this morning when i wouldn't give him a short video until after he go to the potty, change clothes, brush his teeth, and comes downstairs (yes, unfortunately I do give him a short video every morning or many mornings it would be very hard to get him off the bed - but he has to do all the chores all by himself in order to get the video).
Then, not completely a meltdown but he was upset because he didn't get to wear the jacket he wanted (too thin).

Tonight - I had to put him down because I couldn't chop vegetables one handed while holding him. His dad offered to pick him up but nooooo, he only wanted mommy. He sobbed and clung to my legs while wailing "MOMMY PICK MY UUUUUUUP!"

Just at first because she didn't want me to wash her face. She kept blocking her face and said hands first.

@yellowbird: that's actually pretty cute.
This morning my 2 yo threw a fit because she wanted to wear her rain boots and not her winter boots...normally I wouldn't care, but its kind of cold today.
