Newborn photos? Family pictures? Wedding?
I think we got family photos done when I was 5 ish. I know what I look like. I don't think I had professional newborn photos done.

senior pictures?? Then wedding
Unless you count the sears or JCPenney photos as kids haha. I don't think professional photography was a thing until the past 10-15 years.

Engagement pics and wedding (package deal) are the only professional pics we have ever had done.

We used to get family pictures taken by the local photographer in town every couple of yeas. Otherwise it was Sears/Walmart/at the church for the directory.

@Mrs. Pen: Yeah, I think my family photos were something done at Sears or JCPenny. I don't know if that is considered professional. I guess it counts as semi-professional.
If I think real professional, probably at my sister's wedding when I was 14. After that it was my wedding.

I guess school photos. My first good professional photo session was probably our engagement pictures.

@pui: You're a photographer, right? What do you call Studio photographer's like JCPenny/Sears/Picture People.
Wait, I think I'm getting you confused. You're a graphic designer. Either way you pics on IG is what confuses me and makes me think you're a photographer.

Senior pics that was it. Not a huge fan of "professional photography." (I'm such a wet blanket!)

We had a family photo done when I was in about 3rd grade. I was so glad when we got a new family portrait when I was in college because my hair was awful back then!

We had pics taken at Olan Mills all the time - not sure of that counts as "professional" although I am sure it did in the 70's and 80's!

@bluestriped bee: I'm not really a photographer lol... but photography is a hobby of mine.
I guess I'd still call Mall photographers/school photo photographers "professional", but those photos are usually really posed with stock backgrounds and never have that more candid, personal feeling that's popular now!

@Mamaof2: same!!
My mom has tons of pics of me and my brother from different photo shoots at Olan Mills and Glamour Shots! I was under a year old in some.

I did a boudoir session a couple of months back. I've been slacking on getting an album together for DH.

We had a photographer come do a shoot at our house when I was in 7th grade or so.
