Ooooh, fun! Hope you have a great time. I haven't left LO yet overnight. Maybe I need to plan a girls' weekend!

I'm not ready yet!
We are going out this weekend and my sister/BIL are baby-sitting at our house. They wanted to keep her overnight at their house, but I wasn't ready for that.

She was 11.5 months when we went away for our anniversary for a weekend. She stayed with my parents and they all did great. Have fun!

Just this past weekend at 14 months, it was only for about 24 or so hours, and we were about an hour away!

She's 10 months and we've done a few one-nighters where she stayed at her grandparents homes. We're doing a 2 night trip to Boston in November which will be the longest so far.

Five months! For a week! Glad we did because ever since separation anxiety hit (early too!) it has been hard. We had to go somewhere for three days and left dd with MIL and she did well while we were away but woke up a lot the next month!

She was 22 months and we went away for 2 nights/3 days for our 5 year anniversary. She was so attached to me before we left but she did great...my parents stayed with her at our place

She was 2. I went to Las Vegas and flying across the country was the ONLY way I didn't drive to my mom's to get her! LOL!

I was away for a day and night when Xander was 16 weeks for a bachelorette party, but he stayed home with Daddy. Then we both left him for a weekend at 5 months to attend a wedding. It was fun and he was fine!

Next Thursday night will be my first night away from her - she'll be 7 months. Unfortunately its for work and not for fun. I am excited to sleep though - although I'm sure I'll constantly be waking up and looking for a non-existent monitor.

Last weekend, so she was 12 1/2 months, we went away from her for 2 1/2 days...I called muliptle times a day. I can handle 1 day but more than that was too much I missed my girl. I know it's good for us but I don't know how I would do any longer!

We "went away" for a night for our anniversary when LO was 4 months....really we just stayed at a nice hotel in town while my sister and BIL babysat. It was really good for us
@sheskrafty: Unfortunately, this is exactly what happened to me. I was up all night long because of the nonexistent cries I was hearing. Ugh. Mom problems. Haha.

We went away when LO was 23 months old and had my in-laws watch him for 2 days. He didn't do so well and ended up regressing quite a bit. It took a week for him to return back to normal. It was hard being away from him for the first time. Two months later we left him with my sisters for a week so that we could go on our delayed honeymoon/babymoon. He did much better.
