We haven't had one together. We got together just as we started our "career" jobs with actual decent pay checks after college so it actually coincided with the first time we'd both actually had money to spend frivolously. But before that, we both had to be pretty frugal through university.

When I was put on bedrest during my pregnancy with W, and the first four months of her life.
We weren't expecting that I would be out of work for so long. Also, we had a LOT more medical bills than we thought we would.
