My semester ended today, so I finally have time to get back on top of things and schedule DD's dentist appt. I will schedule it right away, and she is 13 months.

He is almost 14 months and I'm going to try and schedule it soon. I'm nervous because I have really bad teeth! I want his to be ok.

Wow, I don't know if its a Canadian thing, but we are told not before 2.5 years. Mavrick has his first appointment next week.

@Mrs. Sunglasses: my doctor said 3 years. I am going to take her at 2 though.

I'm a dentist and always encourage my patients to bring Los in at 1. It's more just a quick peek, getting acquainted, parent education appt. If there are any problems around a year it's early intervention, which is good!

DS started at 1 year and we go every 6 months.

@Mrs. Sunglasses: My ped recommends at a year they should have their first appointment. A lot of articles I've read lately say the new recommendation is a year.. A HBer recently posted a thread how her 1 year old already has the start of cavities and she gives NO sweets or sugar! That prompted me to make the phone call ASAP!
I have great teeth but DH and my siblings don't!
