If you are getting family or lo pictures done around the holidays, when are you doing it?
We never got newborn pics but agreed we would get some when she was a little older, so I plan to get then done before Christmas so we can have the photos for cards, though I don't want only holiday themed ones. I'm thinking I want a whole shoot, not just a mini session they might offer for the holidays. I found a photog I like so need to get back in touch with her soon I think!

We got ours done at the end of September! We didn't do holiday themed at all since it was still in the upper 90s. But I'm glad I got them done early since I still haven't seen the results yet and I know the photog is super swamped..

We're getting ours done Nov 9th. It's a full session. It's a family shoot/ pics of DS for turning 1.

I'm not sure... we just did a 1 year photo shoot in August. It seems soon to do another photo shoot in November! I might use the ones from August or ask a friend to help us.

@Ginabean3: I love tiny prints and now that they are associated with shutterfly I feel like you can get coupons more. I've also done shutterfly.

My best friend is a professional photographer and coming to visit mid Nov, and said we'd do a session then, so we'll probably plan something holiday-ish.

It was really tough to schedule with the photog and around DH's stuff, so we're not taking pics till Dec. 8! I'm hoping pics will be ready within a couple of days and I can order some cards quick! If not, I'll have to use a different pic from this year.

We're doing family pictures next weekend - we're not making them "holiday themed" though. I just want good family pictures and we can always use them as holiday pics anyway. I didn't want them themed so that I can frame them in the livingroom!
