My LO is in the 90th percentile for height because DH is tall. I was below the 5th for my entire childhood!
If LO continues in the 90th percentile, she'll be taller than me when she is 10 or 11, which is when most of my friend's kids started becoming taller than me!

Sigh, DD will be taller than me by about 12/13; DS will be taller than be by 11/12. DD has been tracking about 80th percentile for height; DS has been in the 95th percentile. I'm not very tall, so they'll be overtaking me pretty early!

Oh that's a cool chart! My kid may not end up taller than me. Maybe she will. DH isn't very tall, though. I'm almost 6 feet tall, so we'll see! I was as tall as my mom pretty early on (she's only 5'6")

DH and I are both average height. My LO is in the 95th percentile in height. I feel like she's going to end up slowing down.... I don't understand how she got so tall!

I think so! I think she has DH's height genes...his mom is almost 5'10" which is pretty tall for an Asian woman!

I don't think my kids will be taller than me ever. I'm 5'11" and their dad is 5'6". They are girls and were in the 5oth percentile last time they had doctor's appointments.

LO's always been in the 90-95%.. I'm guessing she'll be taller than me or my height in middle school?

I'm 5'6" and L is in the 85-90th percentile...accdg to the chart she will be my height when she is 13? Crazy!!

Yeah, my daughter seems to have gotten my husband's long and skinny frame. She's going to love that! Although it'd be fun if she were tall like him, but curvy like me like some kind of amazon woman.
