I once read that one of the most important things you can do in a relationship is to come right away when your SO calls for you. The alternative is to ask what your SO needs, and then decide whether or not it's worth it for you to go.
When you call for your SO, do they come right away (or as soon as they can)? Or do they ask you what you need? Or haha, do they just not hear you. 
What about vice versa?

We usually will say, "give me a minute, I'm in the middle of X" and then come after that. We're both pretty good at coming when called, or at least yelling back and forth to one another.

I swear my husband has terrible hearing, so he almost never comes or even responds when I call to him from across the house. If he's upstairs, I have to go to the bottom of the stairs for him to respond. His dad and brothers are the exact same, so either they've tuned women out over the years (MIL can be a bit naggy) or they all have terrible hearing. Once he does finally hear me, though, he responds quickly.

He comes right away (unless he doesn't hear me) and vice versa!

Almost always, or he will let me know if he is in the middle of something and then come after that.

We always respond or go over right away. I never thought not to....I guess we are both responsive!

In our house, it's always like this:
Person 1: "Honey?"
Person 2: "Yeah?"
Person 1: "Can you come here for a sec?"
Person 2: "Why?"
Person 1: "I need you to ________"
Person 2: "Okay, one sec." OR "Be right there."
OR
Person 1: "Honey, come quick!"
Person 2: < arrives >

Usually I will say "babe will you <insert task> and he will say 'yay' and there is a delay, and I'll ask again and he gets up. He knows it frustrates me and thinks its funny....it's not! ha

My husband is 60% deaf so he never hears me if I call for him and we even have a small house. So I have to go to him, and he will usually do what I ask right away. usually.

Like @cocobee my husband has hearing loss so he doesn't usually hear me when I call. So I have to go find him to talk to him.

Thankfully, DH comes pretty much as soon as I call him unless he's in the middle of something. I've been having a harder time getting up/moving around, so he knows that I'm usually stuck in the position I'm in if I'm calling for him haha
