Yep, she has a princess rolly bag she loads up with snacks, coloring book, crayons, stickers, headphones and iPad.

Little kid rolling suitcases. They love rolling them through the airport. It's quite entertaining. I put their airplane toys and snacks inside.

My son takes his backpack. We fill it with a few story/activity/sticker books and markers. He also has his teddy, his AA lovey, a few small toys and his headphones.

Yep! A hard shell kiddie rolling suitcase! He loves it and it's pretty roomy for me to pick his clothes in

No; I still wear LO when we fly and just put stuff for her in my carry-on.

They have their own kiddie roll-ons. But sometimes it gets annoying because it slows us down and becomes more bags for me to carry

We've only done it once, but yes. She took her school backpack which had books, snacks, change of clothes, toys etc.
For those that take the rollie's do you put it in the overhead? I wanted her bag handy under her seat, which is why we opted for the backpack. Though, she has a rollie as well.

Yes! She takes her little skip hop backpack. It is great because she wears it or we throw it in the basket of the travel stroller and she has her books and toys in there. Then I pack "new" toys/activities and extra clothes in my bag. Snacks in both bags.

We haven't flown since he was just over 2. But I imagine that the next time we fly (probably when he's almost 4) he will be wearing a backpack which will be his carryon of toys and snacks.

I just take a larger carry on for both of us. Last time we flew she was about a month shy of 3.

DD took a carry on for the first time when we flew to Toronto a few weeks ago.
She used her pBk roller backpack, but we decided not to use it in public anymore after a few strangers called her by her name Just say no to personalized items

We still put LO in a stroller to get through the airport so giving her her own bag just means more crap for me to carry. I put snacks, toys, coloring/sticker books, and a blankie in my own big bag that I carry on (which I hang on stroller hooks as we go through the airport).

LO takes her small backpack that she fills with her toys and knickknacks she wants. She wears that.
We also take a rolling carry on for her bc she likes rolling it (sort of) and I usually put like extra clothes, her snacks, and anything heavier that I don't want her to carry like a blanket. She half rolls and I roll it or carry it most of the time.
We put the backpack in the leg area for easy access to her things. The roller bag usually goes in the overhead and usually stays closed (only for emergencies)

Last time, he took his school backpack filled with loveys, toys, and books. We'll probably do the same to see the grandparents whenever that will be.

Like others, I have DD1 carry her toys/books/water in her pre-k sized backpack. I carry the snacks and her extra clothes - anything I want control over - in a small duffle bag I take, which also holds my stuff and her little sister's stuff.

Okay - we already packed her clothing and all that in the suitcase. This is for her on the plane and while we are on our layovers. I ended up finding this great bag at Target. It's the perfect size, has a side pocket for her cup and it has little pockets for little toys that won't get lost in the bottom of it. Thanks for the ideas/suggestions!

@mediagirl: cute bag! Can I just recommend a change of clothes for LO on the plane? The last time we flew cross country, my DD got a stomach bug and threw up all over herself. I was so glad we had other clothes (and a little plastic bag for the gross clothes too)!

@MamaCate: SO SMART. I hadn't thought about a change of clothes since she was in diapers. Thank you!

@mediagirl: you're welcome! I sincerely hope you don't need the extra clothes but better safe than sorry!

We packed her small school backpack with her iPad, snacks, stickers, water bottle, clothes, headphones, etc.
