For some reason I feel less guilty about screen time if I am there with my little one while she is watching TV or playing on the iPad. Usually I will talk to her about what she's seeing and help her "play". I guess I feel less guilty because I feel like at least she's getting interaction with me while using screens.
Anyone else? Are you usually with them during TV/iPad/phone time?

Ha. I used to feel that way but now I use the time to get important stuff done ... like my shower time!

Yes.... but that's just because she wouldn't sit there if I wasn't right next to her. Plus the only time she does get screen time is when I'm not feeling well, so I don't want to be doing anything but laying/sitting there anyway.

Its half and half. He loves angry birds so it can entertain him for a while. But we look at icanhascheeseburger and other sites together a lot.

Nah. When I'm tired I'll put on an episode of Curious George for her. She stands (never sits, no idea why) there watching it and I get 20 minutes of relative peace. Win win.
