For me, it has got to be something like 30%. UNLESS I think about their name instead of listening to them and then repeat it to myself for the next 5 minutes. Then it's like 50%.
Just kidding, if I do all that then I remember someone's name most of the time. I just usually forget to make the effort, and then I spend the rest of the conversation thinking, "What was your name again?"

Ugh - hardly ever 
I try really hard to remember it but I'm so easily distracted that it's the first thing for me to forget. I can tell you everything about what they look like!

It depends on how many new people I am meeting at a time. FOr instance in the infant room at my LO's daycare I only know one persons name there because they all told me their names at the same tie so I just forgot them all, but only remember one because she always tells me her name when she answers the phone. but I know the names of the owners because I met them individually and it made an impression on me

Almost never, so don't feel bad! Sometimes I can't even remember meeting someone in the first place. As a result I am the queen of the phrase "Nice to see you" instead of "Nice to meet you".

I never remember! In our new neighborhood, I know the names of all the neighborhood dogs, but no names of actual neighbors. I just think, "Lucy's dad" and "Clooney's mom." I'm the worst.

Being a teacher has helped me do better about this. Kids don't really take to fondly to their teacher taking weeks to learn their names so I always had to do it really quickly. I try to learn them in groups so it's more manageable and I'll get the kids working on something so I can practice their names in my head over and over. It helps that they have to write their names on their paper so I can look over their shoulder if I need a quick reminder.
If I'm outside of the classroom setting I try to find something about the person to associate their name with. Like if I'm meeting a person named Steve and he's wearing stripes I think of the letter S and that helps me remember it.

I'm horrible with names, but great with face recognition! So I will always know them from somewhere but can never place why/what their name is!

Oh gosh almost never... I have a terrible habit of running what I am going to say to new people over and over in my head so when they tell me their name...it sort of doesn't stick. 
I'm working on it though!

Hardly ever! This is really terrible, but I can't remember ANY names of his daycare providers. So terrible
