What do you do? I hear about this happening all the time, but what do you do after? Scoop it out with a plastic bag like you are cleaning up after a dog (my dog is the only living creature I've cared for so far!)? Then empty the tub and start over, since, well, LO was just sitting in poopy water?
Oh the things I'm choosing to worry about right now...

My LO only did this once and it was when she was still EBF so her poop was runny. We immediately pulled her out and the poop pretty much just went down the drain with the water. Hubs took her to the other bathroom to finish her bath while I wiped the tub with lysol wipes and then bleached it.

@Foodnerd81: my baby would always poop in her infant/ toddler tub that goes inside the big tub, So I would just empty it into the toilet clean it and start over

DD has pooped in her toddler tub twice. The first time we drained all the water, flushed the poop down the toilet and sanitized the tub with hot water and soap. The second time she was standing in the tub and made the "I'm about to go poop" face. Hubby was brave enough to catch it with his bare hands before it hit the water while I stood there cringing

@sweet_p: That seriously is priceless. I think if I did that, DH would refuse to touch my hands for days. Of course, this is a man who believes he will never get poop or pee on him and he's about to have a baby. Silly naive man.

@sweet_p: Haha... That's awesome. Once I was changing LO in the church nursery when she decided she wasn't finished with her poop... I definitely had to catch it with my hand.
