...and you order a soda, do you feel obligated to have a refill or 2 to get your money's worth? I generally order water, but if I'm gonna pay $3 for a glass of soda, I feel like it's my duty to get at least one refill. Anyone else?

I don't! DH gets irritated because I order a soda and take two sips!

I don't have this problem because I always drink way more than I should. I drink like 4 glasses of sweet tea - 2 before the food even comes!

I guess I never really thought about it...lol, I just drink and if it's gone I get a refill, if not, I don't!

Oh yes, especially at places that charge 3$ for a soda! 3$?! I can get a 12-pack of knock-off coke for that!

Ha - yes, totally. Growing up my mom never let us get pop in restaurants ( there were 4 girls so it was expensive enough for our meals!) Water only!
Now that I'm a 'grown-up' I'll occasionally order a pop when DH and I go out but I feel I need to get at least one refill to get my money's worth! The majority of the time though, my mom's frugal message rings through and I stick with water.

@char54: us too! We were never allowed so now I'm just used to ordering water. I cringe when DH orders soda in front of my family
