Would you purchase from there again?
DH and I are looking to buy a new couch because ours is old, cheap, and really uncomfortable.

We got ours at Macy's furniture store. I was happy with it. Plus it broke about a year later (the mechanical part, because part of it has a power recliner) and they came back and replaced it without question.

Ikea - it looks good, but isn't super comfortable. It fit the budget, though.

We have two, both from BoConcept. The first one DH had before we met. The one we bought together can open into a bed. I would buy from them again.

American, but they are going out of business. We got a Rowe sectional and that brand is sold at lots of furniture stores and I've very happy with our purchase.

Macy's. It great for the "need nice looking furniture but have young kids" stage

Haverty's and we absolutely love it. It has been so durable and even survived our two 90 pound dogs occasionally jumping up on it (they aren't allowed, but I often catch them sleeping on it during the day).

Nebraska Furniture Mart. It's amazingly comfy.
And when our cat lit it on fire a year ago they replaced it for free!

Ethan Allen. Their customer service is phenomenal. Would buy with them again.

We have one from Crate & Barrel and another from Ethan Allen. Would buy from either one again.
@SLR: is the fabric not wearing well? I know EA has different levels of fabric and our consultant was really knowledgeable in helping us pick a fabric that would wear well with pets and kids.

@AmandaB8: I think you may need to share that story!
Ours is from restoration hardware, the couch is great but we had a few issues with costumer service that I did not expect since it was so expensive.

Ashley.
Our next sectional will probably be from pb

Crate and Barrel. We would definitely purchase from there again. The sofa was a splurge we justified because (fortunately or not) we spend so much time on it!

Costco! We got our entire living room set online. Their customer service was great, the price was great, the quality is great (except the couch cushions are already squishy so we'll need to put something underneath).

@Cole: We had an end table next to our couch - it's a huge end table - like, 3 feet across. On the far end, we had a candle lit. DH was sitting on the couch, covered with a fleece blanket.
Well, little miss needy cat decided she needed attention. So she PUSHED the candle 3 feet across this dang table, and lit the fleece blanket on fire, which literally melts and lights the couch on fire. Luckily DH has quick reflexes and was able to jump out from under the blanket and douse the whole thing with a nearby cup of water.
Our cat's whiskers and the couch were not so lucky...
But thank god for furniture insurance policies!!

Ours is from Lazy Boy. I would buy from them again, but I would get a different style. We got attached back cushions and DH is really rough on his side and I wish I could switch or flip them.

Macy's. It's about 2 years old and we're so happy with the purhase. Everyone comments on how comfy it is. My SIL prefers to sleep on it instead of the guest bed when she visits!

@AmandaB8: That is crazy! I would imagine the insurance people hadn't heard that particular story before!

Ikea Karlstad. In the budget, looks great, and is surprisingly comfy!

@NorCalWayfarer: The fabric is good; it's the cushions that are the problem. There were two massive dents in them when it was delivered, I believe due to how it was wrapped. These two cushions were replaced right off the bat, but it's still not wearing well at all. The back cushions are sagging terribly. The designer has been out to take a look and gave us some lame explanation like we should be taking them out of the case *every* night and rolling them to fluff them back up. (Also, we had upgraded to the ones that the designer said would wear better.). A friend of mine has the same couch (different material and the standard cushions) and hasn't had any issues though.

Haverty's, not impressed. We are looking for a new one.

We got ours from Havertys late last year, and we've been happy with it so far. (It's the Amalfi sofa in gray.)

@SLR: I would call the main EA office and tell them what's up. I wonder if they'd replace the whole thing if you tell them the situation, because I NEVER remove the covers, that's ridiculous!

Ours is the karlstad from ikea. I would buy it again. It's comfy, stylish, and love that I can easily change the look with a different cover, bonus is I can wash the covers.

Rooms to Go. It's the best couch EVER. It's big and comfy and is over 8 years old now and is holding up really well!!
