Feeling nostalgic as I just parked in front of a local bridal shop.

From a local WeddingBee member! Had the dress I wanted I. The right size, brand new, because she had changed her mind about it.

David's. I wasn't really intending to, but my friend worked there, so I wanted to give her practice, and they had a sale.

I bought a sample dress from a wedding shop closure. It was too big. I ended up finding the same dress pre-owned in the size I needed online and sold the dresses I had.

I actually got mine from a charity org called Brides Against Breast Cancer. They sell donated dresses either from other brides or some brand new. They have events around the country. My MIL has had breast cancer for 15 years so I was hoping I would find a dress there and it worked out!
Of course I suffered a bit from the inevitable dress regret but stuck with it in the end and ended up happy! I would have donated it back afterwards but it kind of got trashed and is actually still in the bag never cleaned

A boutique about an hour from my hometown. I knew what dress I wanted and it was a bit of a hunt to find it locally.

From a local boutique. They were very nice and helpful- I got really sick a few weeks before my wedding and they had to do very last minute alterations- when I went to pick it up it actually had to stay and be taken in! It is a car rental place now.

A bridal boutique that ran into serious scandals after my wedding. I'm still thankful my dress actually showed up!

A bridal boutique near my parent's house. It was the first dress I tried on. It took one shopping trip to get my dress. One of our neighbors bought the same dress a few years later.

David's. We were only engaged for 3 months, I didn't have a lot of time (or money) to shop around

David's. I wasn't planning to, just went to try on because it was convenient and to see what they had. I went with my mom, on my parents' 25th wedding anniversary, and found the perfect dress.
