Did you go to the pedi or were you able to get it someplace like Walgreens?

Pedi. I get mine there too.

We got it at their regular ped appt. I know my insurance does not cover the flu shot from Walgreens, but does cover it at a dr office. I have no idea why! But, you may want to check that out in case your insurance has the same rule.

Tried at Target they don't do kids under 4, so at the peds office for both!

I went ahead and did it at day care. They had a service come and do them for parents and the kids. Saved me a Sat trip to the pedi.

She gets it next week at the pedi, during her 18 month appointment.

@Smurfette: Um that's awesome! Wish we had that option. I had to take time off of work to take her to the pediatrician's flu clinic. I got mine at work.

Ped's office. They said it would be fine to have gotten it done at a Walgreens/Target if they offered the flu shot for littles under 4, but I figured it was easiest just to go to the doctor rather than running around town finding a place that does pediatric flu shots.

Her annual wellness checks is at the start of flu season so we can always get it there (#fallbirthdays)

Ped's office for both kids-- we saw a nurse practitioner since it wasn't during a nomal well visit.

@Smurfette: that's genius! Our pediatrician was out of them at her 30 month appt, so we had to find a clinic that would do it. Turns out most don't for kids under 5, but we finally found a minute clinic with a nurse practitioner on staff that would do it. Such a pain!

Pedi. But we are lucky since she has an Oct bday and is always there for her annual check up anyway.
