I usually buy it from the Container Store. It's so thick! But the past couple years I've been using gift bags because I'm so lazy.

I buy from the Container Store too. It's pricey (I think) but good quality and I love the selection.

Ikea! I love their brown kraft striped wrapping paper with a colorful ribbon or twine. They have great grey and white and red and white twine this year!

I try to re-use gift bags as much as possible, but usually end up with a roll of paper from Target for big boxes.

Target. Although Hallmark has great paper, thick and has grid lines on the back so I can cut it straight. I usually just get it at Target since it seems like I am always there anyway.

Oops, I was gonna say the Container Store! They have such nice designs. I also have some cheaper stuff in bulk from Costco so it's not as thick.

I usually pick up a roll every time I'm out through the holiday season - usually Target or Homegoods. I'll always pay more for the thicker paper because it isn't worth it to use that thin stuff that tears while wrapping!

I bought four huge rolls from Wal-Mart in 2008. I'm still using those. I hope to finish them off this year because I'd like to get something different.

Walmart or Target or the Dollar store. Wherever it's on sale! I usually buy it after Christmas and store it for the next year. It's always a surprise as to what we'll be wrapping our gifts in each year when we open the wrapping paper tub!

Target or Walmart. I like the sets that come with three or four coordinating wrapping papers and ribbons and bows. Those are my favorite!

Usually after the holidays at Walmart to use the next year and I reuse gift bags as much as possible.

Target here! @adira I love those coordinated sets too!
Always buy Xmas stuff after the holiday and then put it away and forget what I bought until the next year. So fun!

I usually buy at Target during after Christmas sales. They have a nice extra thick line that is really reasonably priced. The nicest paper I ever got was from one of the neighbors' kids mail order fundraisers. It was double sided and super thick! Not very environmentally friendly though, I don't think.

My mother always ordered from Current, and I've just started doing so as well- it's really thick and wide, and never tears like the stuff I've gotten from Target. Plus they're always having a sale, so it's not much more expensive.
DH's family always puts everything in gift bags, so I try really hard to wrap everything I can, if only for a change of pace on Christmas!

Christmas tree shop. I hate spending a lot of wrapping paper that just gets torn up and tossed.

I love thick wrapping paper! It's so much easier to wrap presents with and it looks nicer! I buy my paper from the Container Store, Papyrus or Paper Source when they go on sale for like 75% off! Usually after Christmas.

Dollar Tree!!! But last couple years I've been repurposing drawings as wrapping paper.

@PurplePumps: I'm with you. I can't bring myself to spend a lot of money on something that gets thrown away.
I bought some paper at walmart a few years ago and still have some left. We might have to buy a couple of rolls this year though... I prefer to reuse gift bags if we have them though.

Costco! You get insanely huge rolls of nice thick metallic paper for a good price. You can't beat the prices on the ribbons and bows either.

Just bought a bunch at Hobby Lobby!! I got huge rolls for only $4

I'm currently not "allowed" to buy anymore wrapping paper
You bet I'll be at Target getting more the day after Christmas though, lol!

I buy it at Tuesday Morning. They have tons of paper, gift bags, etc and its all really cheap. I hate paying full price on that stuff because it just gets tossed anyway!

I bought 4 rolls from Target's post Christmas sales last year at a huge discount so I think those will last me at least a season or two. Prior to that I bought a huuuge roll from Costco, and it's still around - I think I've had it for 3-4 seasons now!

@MsMini: I'm with you!
The Costco stuff is such great quality and lasts for years. The stuff we got last time was reversible so I had lots of prints to choose from.

Walmart, target, Shoppers Drug Mart, Kohls.... wherever I see it.

I love the Container Store ones and get those once in awhile. More often, Target, Home Goods, and Ikea.

Walmart or Target. Target has some really cute prints but I've noticed that their rolls don't have as much paper on them.

Hallmark. I tend to forget about The Container Store. Sometimes I buy paper from a co-worker's kid's school fundraiser.
GOLD / watermelon / 14076 posts
My co-worker's kids usually sell wrapping paper as a school fundraiser, so I will buy some from them. I also bought a few super cute rolls a few weeks ago from Home Goods.

Usually wal-mart because they're large in size and have the grid lines on the back since I'm a horrendous straight line cutter!
I buy from the dollar tree for all ocassions other than Christmas. I'm not a fan of it too much bc they're so thin!!
I bought a roll from SAM's this year and it's so thick! Love it!! Plus it's 400 sq ft and is double sided so I can pick either side for wrapping.
