I've switched my son to regular running sneakers and he is doing really well in them. I like Saucony or New Balance.

i've found such cute shoes at old navy. i would get a pair of native/croc style shoes for the summer, and then a pair of sneakers.

i never really bought kid specific sneakers like skr and just bought regular sneakers like adidas, pumas, etc. they hold up really well as olive is wearing charlie's hand me downs and they're still in great condition!

Most of Lo's shoes come from Nordstrom or Nordstrom Rack, but I just got her a nice pair of Hello Kitty sneakers (they look like Converse but have better soles) on clearance at TJ Maxx for $8!

Skr and stride rite

oh i remember that i actually did buy a pair of stride rites (elmo) for charlie. stride rites and new balance are great for kids with wide feet because they come in wide, and charlie had super chubby feet as a baby/toddler!

All of DS's shoes are SKR b/c I've hit up the great sales.

We loved her Teva sandals last year. They were easy to get on and they stayed on. I figure shoes last her a season now, so I will make sure she has a good pair of outdoor shoes, a good pair of indoor shoes ( for daycare) and either good winter boots or good sandals. My mom ingrained on me that you should take good care of your feet as you will be standing on them your whole life.

We like Keens for outdoors, and she has a nice light pair of Adidas for daycare. I keep an eye out for sales and usually manage to get shoes on sale.

Nikes are our go to school shoe. I get them most frequently from kohls.com with a 30% off coupon. They do tend to run smaller than other shoes.

Our favorite sandals last year were a pair of adidas sandals. I will be getting them again this year if I can find them.

Target! Cheap and cute

I'm lazy and never go in stores to buy shoes for LO. I usually find good deals online at Nordstrom. I only buy him one pair of shoes for each size.

We got some NIkes from Nordstrom.
They have a large velcro strap so LO can easily put her shoes on and take them off.

@shopaholic: I ordered the first time wo it too. Sstill worked for my email. From a laptop. The first email they sent didn't have a code, I replied and they sent me a code. The way theybhave u apply it is kinda funky too. But it worked!

I also have a pair of nb sneakers and stride rites are sturdy too!
