I have a Lands End coat from last year for our 4 year old. It's a size 4 so I'm hoping it fits her this year. I realized when I took her to daycare this morning that she should have taken it with her. Ooops. Cold mornings, warm afternoons throw me off.

Lands End, I think we're on our 3rd coat from there. My son is currently getting about 2 years wear from them, I buy one size up at the end of season sale.

Ugh I am stumped this winter! DD1 is 22 months, so I'm kinda reluctant to spend $$ on Northface/Patagonia/LL Bean or what not until she's older and can maybe use the same size for 2 winters.
Last year, I got her a Carter's on Amazon during super sale for cheap. This year, I'm eyeing Children's Place... I was looking on Target before with their BOGO 50% but didn't like anything.

Gap for both. I love their primaloft coats - super warm and thin enough to wear in a car seat!

Both are from Mini Boden and I bought them both last year at the beginning of the season. I'm pretty sure they will both make it the whole winter, so I'm happy I'm getting two years out of them. They've been in winter coats for about 2 weeks now.

She just needs a lightweight one right now, so she is wearing one from Target our neighbor gave us. Then we have one from Costco (last year I think will fit) and a heavy one from Gap I got on clearance last spring.

I get her a few coats for varying weather and use cases. Last year, we did:
- Patagonia puffball - for car and above freezing
- Lands End squall - for below freezing and playing outside
- Carters wool peacoat (couldn't resist how cute it was and the sale price) - best for temps around freezing
I just checked and I think they all still fit for this year so we might be set! We also have a couple fleeces of different weights for layering (one light cheap one from Carters and a much nicer thick one from Hanna Andersson).

We've done North Face and Patagonia from Nordstrom (anniversary sale is a great time to get a good price). We've also done Target. Last year we got her winter coat from Gap and I think it's going to last through this winter.

She has three coats all of which were secondhand from neighbors: a cute fleece-lined raincoat from Gap, a peacoat with pink stars also from Gap, and a North Face puffy down coat.

The two we will likely use most this fall/winter are a light weight quilted coat from Polo, and a North Face that's reversible (fleece on one side, waterproof on the other). It's been relatively cold in the mornings here (probably around 50 when they leave for school) but we haven't pulled out the coats yet because it's still 80 by the afternoon.

I usually get coats for them from Old Navy or Gap. It doesn't get too cold here so no need for a heavy duty winter jacket. They only really use it when we drive to the mountains to see snow.

Costco! It doesn't get super cold here so the little puffers they sell for $20 are fine for the two- three snowstorms we will have. DD actually asked for the exact coat that she outgrew from last year hahaha (and they have a baby snowsuit that matches it we will buy for DD2 when she gets here).

I got DD a nice one from Osh Kosh outlet. It was listed as new online, and I happened to see it at the outlet with no obvious defects. I sized up to a 2T, and hopefully it gets us through the winter. It's like a parka. Winters get cold here! Now I just need to find her snowboots.

We ended up finding one at Costco! its a really thin puffer coat. I wanted a Patagonia one, but I just couldn't justify $100 for only 1 year of use!

I got DS a Columbia reversible coat- fleece on one side and waterproof on the other on sale at REI. It's called double trouble, I believe.

Their "going out into the snow" coats are from Gap.. Their cute winter coats that they wear when it's cold but they aren't going to get submerged in snow, are from Hanna Andersson.

Columbia Sportswear this year but I have gotten North Face in the past. She hates super puffy coats that she can't move in so the Columbia and NF are nice because they are still warm but lightweight. I buy a size up so it can last two years since these brands are pricier.

North Face Perrito. I purchased it on the NF site last year, and this year I bought it during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. It's carseat friendly. They also have NF fleece for the fall/spring.

Last year I discovered a local Swedish brand called Lindberg. It's Eco-friendly, soft, warm and super comfy. I was so happy with the quality, I had to get her a jacket from the same brand this year.

We have Zara puffer coats and a Target 3-in-1, bought on clearance in previous springs that still fit, plus I got a cute red Bennetton coat from my local buy/sell group. I haven't paid more than $20 for any of them.
