i flip flop between kroger (regional grocery chain) and randazzo's (fresh fruit/veggie market).
i've noticed that randazzo's has better produce at a cheaper price!

Publix. Kroger is cheaper but DH doesn't like their meats, so Publix it is.

Superstore, Costco, local butcher, and local green grocer. All depending on how I am feeling and what we need. (PS: I am Canadian)

@mediagirl: @NaturallyCathy: How do you like Aldi's?
We shop at Meijer, which is our local grocery store. Love that place.

Mostly Wegman's and Costco. Occasionally Shopper's. there's an Aldi really close to my house, but it's not a very good one

Kroger but am thinking of switching to Lowes Foods or Harris Teeter.

Everywhere... *sigh*
I buy certain things at Whole Foods (would buy more there if I could afford it), some at Target, some at Winn-Dixie, and some at Walmart (unfortunately).
The reason for that is because I can never get everything I need at one store.
Winn-Dixie is the only place that carries coconut-almond milk, Whole Foods is the only place I can get things like nutritional yeast, organic yogurt drinks, fresh cheese, kefir, etc.
And Walmart is where I get all the cheap things (canned goods, dried beans, some frozen veggies) just because I can't afford to do all my shopping elsewhere.

I work next to a Stop & Shop. Great prices, but not so great produce, I buy things like bottled water, pasta, sauce, seasonings, etc.
For produce and vegetarian items (we're a vegetarian family) I go to Whole Foods and sometimes Trader Joe's.
For paper goods and cleaning supplies, I go to the Target that's one building down from where I live.

@Bao: @NaturallyCathy: it's great! We get everything except meat and bread there for the most part. Produce is normally cheaper than the regular grocery store and their fruit prices cannot be beat.

Whole Foods, and in the warmer months the local farmers markets (not farm stands).

@Bao: Mainly we stock up on snack items and fresh produce there since, like @mediagirl: said, the prices are usually so much cheaper than say Publix. We'll also get things like seasonings, fresh meat, frozen meat, and sometimes their seasonal fare.
I don't mind off brands but I just like Publix's brand better so we'll buy our main staples at Aldi's and then head across the street to Publix to fill in with what we couldn't/don't usually get at Aldi's.

whole foods mostly. we go to publix for things like milk and eggs when we run out.

HyVee & Wal-Mart... The only meat we have to buy at the store is chicken and fish... We have a half of a cow & pig in our freezer so for the rest of the stuff, I buy wherever it's cheapest. I need to start going to Aldi's though... I always forget about it!!

Vons, Stater Bros, Trader Joe's, Sprouts, Target, Costco!

Wal-Mart and Asian grocery stores mainly, but if I forgot something, I'll go to Aldi's since it's on my way home or Trader Joe's if Aldi doesn't have what I need.

Whole Foods. It's a block away from our current apartment. We're moving in April, and then the Whole Foods there is three blocks from our apartment, so we really have no incentive to switch!

Kroger for big shopping trips, and then to Marsh (local chain) when I need to get a few things. There is also a local store that has great bulk items & spices, and produce is not terribly expensive. I will go there if I need something special.

I mix it up between Costco, Superstore, Sobey's and Walmart. In the summer we go fruit standing and farmers markets, and all of our meat is from a local butcher.

Walmart, publix or food lion. Usually walmart but sometimes I don't wanna deal with a crowd.
GOLD / wonderful grape / 20289 posts
Publix, with the occasional farmers market for fruits and veggies.

Sprouts, Target, and Costco. We get our produce and "health foods" (a splurge) at Sprouts, miscellaneous items at Target, and most of our meats and eggs at Costco.

Harris Teeter, Lowe's, Trader Joes
I wish there was a Wegmans near us!

Well in Canada I go to Maxi/Loblaws Sobeys (IGA) and Metro. I do very little shopping at Costco.

Walmart, the local Korean market, and Stater Bros.
Costco for bulk items, and Whole Foods for a few things like organic spinach and kale.

We shop at Fred Meyers, whole foods, Trader joes, Asian markets and farmers market in the summer.

Aldi, SAMs, and we have CSA that is biweekly in the winter and weekly spring through fall.

We shop at the commissary on post. I hate it but we can't afford to shop at the grocery stores off-post. Before moving here, we shopped at HyVee, Walmart, Winn-Dixie, or Publix depending on where we lived at the time.
