I'm not home so can't get a pic but it's in the corner of the room, on the wall, almost by the ceiling. The view is perfect!

Ours is on the dresser across from the crib so we can see directly into it. That dresser is waist-high so the view into the crib is good. We used to have it on the high dresser next to her crib looking down into the crib but once we lowered the mattress, we had to move the monitor.

Ours is currently mounted to the wall at the foot of her crib but its not ideal. Plus now its twisted and pointing towards her rock and play in the middle of her room.

It was right above in the middle of his crib. Now that he's older and can stand on the lowest crib setting it'll probably go from an angle somewhere. Haven't decided yet, but I also use the 3M command as well. They are awesome! And I don't have to drill into an walls.
